Today, we took a crucial step towards securing the future of our young girls in Dzaleka Refugee Camp. We gathered leaders from schools, hospitals, organizations, and community leaders for an impactful meeting dedicated to addressing the pressing issues of earlier pregnancy prevention and disease awareness among young girls in general. Our focus was particularly on young refugee girls living with disabilities, who are often victims of sexual abuse and face unique challenges.
This collaboration is essential in creating a supportive network that empowers the young Refugee Girls with the knowledge they need to make informed choices. By uniting various sectors of our community, we can develop targeted programs and resources that address these critical issues head on.
