On July 7, 2025, a significant milestone was achieved at the Umoja English and Computer Training Center as the facilitators’ team joined forces with the center management board for a vibrant and impactful training session. This gathering was not just about sharing knowledge; it was about growing together, exchanging experiences, and strengthening skills to deliver education that is both transformative and inclusive. Education that is deeply rooted in the community.

The workshop’s theme, “Effective Leadership and Communication for Transformative and Inclusive Education at Dzaleka Refugee Camp,” resonates with our commitment to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG4), which emphasizes quality education for all. At Umoja People with Disabilities (UPD), we are dedicated to making education accessible to everyone, regardless of discrimination or stigma. We believe that when facilitators are well-equipped with the right tools and knowledge, they become catalysts for change, laying down the groundwork for a brighter future.

Our slogan, “Leave No One Behind,” guides us in every initiative we undertake. The passion displayed by our facilitators and dedicated participants during this workshop is a testament to their commitment to making impactful changes in their communities. Together, we can create an educational environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Thank you to all who participated; your enthusiasm fuels our mission!
